To Whom It May Concern,
I have lost my voice. All I seem to be able to find is a squeak (and sometimes phlegm balls). If you happen to stumble upon my voice, I'd like it back. I can be reached at 555-TALK.
Thank-you,
Bott

Back in the Fall, I lost my voice for almost 5 days. I couldn't teach and one day had to get other people to cover my classes while I supervised their students writing tests. It was terrible. Literally, there was almost nothing coming out of my mouth but phlegm. I really appreciated the ability to communicate with words after that. I was miserable and Darcy got annoyed after a while because listening to me was excruciatingly painful and obnoxious. It got painful too. Hope yours doesn't last nearly as long as mine did.

OOPS, I didn't know you were sick when I prepared the talking thing at the shower... It's not like the virus and I were planning a ripe plot to take out your voice or anything...!?
Oh, so how's the flower basket treating you?
Cheryl - I tried calling the phone number you gave - but I couldn't hear anyone answer. Were you there? Maybe you should speak up when you answer the phone!!
